Referral Marketing Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

You should know how Mistakecharacter Heating & Air works and how we get paid. This disclosure explains both. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

What Mistakecharacter Heating & Air Is

Mistakecharacter Heating & Air is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent HVAC providers. We do not do AC repair, furnace repair, maintenance, system installation, or any other heating and cooling work.

When you call the number on this site or send a form, your call or request may go to an independent provider. It may also go to a marketing partner that works with providers in your area.

How We Get Paid

Providers or marketing partners may pay Mistakecharacter Heating & Air for the calls, form submissions, or other referrals we send them. The payment can depend on things like how long a call lasts or whether it is answered. We may be paid even if you decide not to hire the provider.

This payment does not change what a provider charges you. You pay the provider directly for any work you agree to, at the prices the provider sets.

Providers Stand on Their Own

Providers are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of Mistakecharacter Heating & Air. Each one alone is responsible for:

• Its estimates, pricing, and terms
• How good and how timely its work is
• The equipment it installs and any warranties it gives
• Its licenses, insurance, and certifications
• How it communicates and behaves with you

Being connected with a provider is not an endorsement, and it is no promise about their work. Because of how we are paid, the provider you reach depends on which providers are in our network at that time.

The Decision Is Yours

You never have to hire a provider we connect you with. Ask questions, check credentials, request a written estimate, and compare other quotes before you choose.

About Call Recording

Calls made through this site may be tracked. In some cases they are recorded to check quality, verify details, and handle billing.
